·Booing isn't an option if we want to challenge.
Hearing the booing at Anfield last week-end (though a minority) made me feel like a Newcastle fan. Surely we don’t want to be seen as anything like those fickle deluded dullards from the North East of England. We are Liverpool FC not Newcastle United, leave all that sort of stuff for them, otherwise we may end up as potless and discredited as they are.
·Rafa Praises Xabi's Form
Rafa Benitez has hailed the form of Xabi Alonso who received the MOM award for his display against Bolton in the Premier League yesterday. The Reds won the match 2-0, with goals from Dirk Kuyt and Steven Gerrard seeing them go top of the league again, if only for a few hours.
·Luis Garcia returns to Anfield
Ex-Red Luis Garcia is looking forward to renewing his relationship with the Kop this evening when his team, Atletico Madrid, meet Liverpool in a return Champions League Group Stage match. The popular Spanish player who won the Champions League trophy with Liverpool in 2005 says:
·Dirk Kuyt doesn't mind stepping aside for Torres
Dirk Kuyt is willing to play anywhere in the team for Liverpool. After scoring two goals against Wigan at the week-end he accepts that he will probably be back out on the wing when Fernando Torres returns from injury. The Holland international has always shown great professionalism and it’s a credit to him that he always gives 100% no matter where he plays.
·Win a signed Peter Evo book My Youth - My Kop
Peter Etherington has kindly signed his book 'My Youth, My Kop' for us to give as a prize in our latest article comp. The book is a fantastic read and takes us through Peters (EVO) journey from youth to man following his beloved Reds. Anyone who has read any of Peters work in the past will know that it will be a damn good read written in a style that is totally and uniquely, brilliantly, EVO.
·Young players to get their chance
Liverpool are expected to play quite a few youth players tonight in their Carling Cup game against Crewe Alexander at Anfield. Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri will definitely play and Emilio Insua, Daniel Plessis, Ngog, Nabil El Zhar and Daniel Pacheco are all hoping to get their chance.

MIGHTY REDS ARTICLE COMPETITION – Win a Special Piece of Liverpool Memorabilia As some of you know we are donating the revenue earned from our forum to the HJC (Hillsborough Justice Campaign). The revenue comes from hits to the site when articles are published on NewsNow.
·What Anfield Means To Me
At an early age Scousers feel an overwhelming desire, a yearning, nothing to do with the opposite sex, that comes later, and is not as important. You want nothing more than to go the match. Before you can walk you are quizzed by your elders "Is he red or blue? What foot does he kick with?"

I know for sure that none of our support would need any incentive to help the HJC in their continual fight for justice.
·Robbie not taking anything for granted
Robbie keane is eager to see his new team progress in the Champions League after his only time of playing in it, his team, Inter Milan, were knocked out in the qualifiers. That was eight years ago but Keane is still aware of how things can go wrong and will be a lot happier when the first leg is over.
