Sportnetwork: di Montezemolo: We Did Not Need Raikkonen
Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has stated Ferrari needed to change the team's line up for the 2010 season, asserting bringing Fernando Alonso on as a driver to be necessary for improvement. While not rejecting Raikkonen's contributions to the Scuderia, it does seem di Montezemolo has still snubbed the Finn.
Sportnetwork: Räikkönen Joins Citroën in the WRC
Kimi Raikkonen has announced he will not be taking a sabbatical in 2010 after leaving the Scuderia Ferrari and will rather be racing for the Citroën Junior Team in the World Rally Championship. Having dabbled in rallying before, Raikkonen is keen to continue his career in the sport and will attend all but one WRC event next season.
Sportnetwork: Raikkonen Out of Formula 1
It seems Kimi Raikkonen will not be competing in Formula 1 at least until the end of the 2010 season. With Ferrari signing Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa for the upcoming season, Raikkonen was forced to look elsewhere. It now seems though he will not join another team and instead will take a sabbatical.

Kimi Raikkonen has come on strong during the last half of the 2009 season, taking victory and several podium finishes, including a podium at last weekend's Italian Grand Prix. However, his future at Ferrari is anything but certain, with rumours abound suggesting an early end to his contract.
Sportnetwork: Does the Santander Deal Guarantee Alonso for 2010?
With Spanish banking group Santander signing with Ferrari as a major sponsor from 2010, Fernando Alonso's much often rumoured move to the Scuderia seems almost certain. However, Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has declared there should be no such assumption.
Sportnetwork: Santander to Sponsor Ferrari From 2010
Maranello, Thursday September 10, 2009 Ferrari announced that Spanish Bank Santander, will become one of the Italian team's ‘most important’ sponsors from 2010.
Sportnetwork: Massa Believes Renault Intentionally Crashed
Injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa, reportedly believes Renault instructed Nelson Piquet Jr to intentionally crash during the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. The incident, rather unsurprisingly titled crash-gate, has placed Renault in a rather embarrassing situation and may in fact eject them from the sport.
Sportnetwork: Fisichella Signed as Massa's Replacement
Maranello, September 3rd: Ferrari announces that they have signed Giancarlo Fisichella to replace injured driver Felipe Massa's replacement Luca Badoer. And with this, Giancarlo realizes a life long dream to drive for the storied scuderia.
Sportnetwork: Ferrari to Replace Delusional Badoer
Ferrari seems set to replace the struggling Luca Badoer at the upcoming Italian Grand Prix, despite Badoer believing such an action to be ultimately absurd. With Badoer finishing last in both of his substitutions for the injured Felipe Massa, Ferrari has little choice but to bring in another driver, with the most recent suggestion being Giancarlo Fisichella.
