·Prep baseball: Reed coach steps down after five seasons
Reed baseball coach Jon Foss resigned Friday, one day after his team was eliminated from the Northern 4A regional playoffs by Bishop Manogue. Foss said the reason he stepped down was because of family.

Arts in Bloom is becoming a Mother's Day tradition in Sparks. The annual event at the Sparks Marina brings together the work of local artists as well as plates painted by actors, athletes and musicians.
