Big name inclusions in Mark McVeigh and Dustin Fletcher are fit and ready to go following the timely break last weekend, however, the Swans also have a flock of key 'ins' with Nick Malceski, Luke Ablett and Tadhg Kennelly likely to resume from injury.

·Fletcher set to return against Sydney
Champion defender, Dustin Fletcher - who turned 33 last week - looks certain to return to the Bombers' side to play Sydney on Sunday after successfully getting through today's main training session. Fletcher suffered an injury to the adductor (groin) against Collingwood and missed the Round 7 clash with Port Power.

Managing director, Peter Jackson, welcomed Sheedy's return and praised the football mastermind for his outstanding contribution to the club and for his assistance in helping the club to reach the record milestone.
·Knights vows to continue with young, attacking side
Matthew Knights today vowed to stick to his philosophy of injecting youth into the Essendon side in order to achieve a period of sustained success in the future. “As I have said all along, I want to give the younger players an opportunity to grow and get game time and gain experience,” Knights said to media today.
